Ali means champion or a highly respected person in Muslim. The name Ali Nation was chosen because the group goes far beyond music.
The group has background staff that makes the team tick, and this staff is a nation on its own aiming to go worldwide.
Ali Nation was founded by Melochi in 2019, at the time put together a team that consisted of family and friends, with similar music ideas.
Most Musicians from Chimwemwe are known to have the Dunka kind of Music, But Ali Nation adopts a more Urban Afropop Sound with Each member having a distinct sound.
The group was founded in Chimwemwe, yet members are not restricted to Chimwemwe. This is because the team was created out of Unity and Love.
